June 2008

June started with rehearsals & fittings for Buppies. We shot the pilot episode June 5-9th in amazing private residences in Calabasas & Malibu. I am very excited to see the final product! I truly feel that this is a project that has amazing potential! It was the most amazing creative environment that I have had the privilege to work in thus far. Everyone was marvelous and Tatyana is the sweetest!

The Wrap Party was held on the 10th at The Standard on Sunset in the Purple Room.

May 2008

May started with Momma Wogan & I meeting in Salt Lake City to celebrate our birthdays. We had a BLAST!! Time always goes to quick when we are together.

While I was in Salt Lake City I got a phone call from Rage Models asking to meet with me about possible representation. I met with them on the 8th where they signed me on the spot.

May 11th was Cousin Day. Ben & Willie Tucker were in town, so along with their sister Naomi & her husband Jose, we all enjoyed a delightful Indian Brunch on Willie. Thanks Wills!!

May 13th was an AMAZING day!! I auditioned for the lead in a new pilot for LIFETIME called Drop Dead Diva. The audition went extremely well. Even though I didn’t get the part, it’s awesome to know that I rocked the audition!!

On May 14th I was contacted & signed by the commercial division of Rage Models, Rage Talent Agency.

Remember the audition that I missed because I was at the Deal or No Deal casting? Well it turns out that they had another round of auditions for the role of Nikki in Buppies on the 17th. I rocked that audition too!

May 22nd my dear friend Seth Coltan held his Birthday Party at this great little bar in the valley called The Chimney Sweep.

May 23rd was a Blessed Day! I met 3G Management. They offered to represent me right there. It turns out that they are fellow believers and we have the same vision for me career. I thank the Lord for this divine connection & can’t wait to see what comes from it!!

May 24th I had a callback for Buppies. I knew when I left the audition that I had it. They called and offered me the role on the 27th. Buppies is a webisode starring Tatyana Ali about young black personals in LA. I play the girlfriend of one of the lead characters. I am their token white chick!

May 25th my friend Jamie Leffler’s band, My Dolls, had a concert and after party that rocked. You should check them out at http://www.myspace.com/mydollsband. They are the next big thing!!

April 19th I, along with what seemed to be a million other people, auditioned to be on Deal or No Deal. I have wanted to be on the show forever!! It was a great day of standing in line for over 6 ½ hours which gave me the opportunity to getting to know my line mates. As strange as this might sound, I left feeling like I was already a winner.

Side Note – Besides the open call for Deal or No Deal, I also had an audition that I wasn’t able to make that afternoon because I was still at the Deal or No Deal casting for a webisode called Buppies.

March 2008

March 19th my cousin Naomi Tucker & I had a fun Cousin Day and visited our Great Aunt Jane in Ventura. The hour drive west gave us precious time to catch-up. We had a delightful day! Aunt Jane treated us to a fabulous lunch. We even went on a shopping excursion.

Easter weekend meant that I was off for my annual trip to visit Kerrie Jane & her family. It was a short visit. Yet it was good to steal sometime & catch-up with my Northern California contingent.
