Catch-up

FEBRUARY

February 1st I was back in LA. Since then I have been catching-up on a month and a half of being gone.

The strike has ended and life is returning to some resemblance of normalcy. I have had new headshots taken and my Official Website launched. It will continue to be update, so please continue to check it out. As many new updates will be made this month alone. It’s http://www.katrinawogan.com/.

I had another first this last week. I was at one of my acting classes and this girl kept looking at me. Actually, she was kind of freaking me out the way she kept studying my face. After I got up and worked and then rejoined the audience she leaned over and asked me if I was in the film Someone to Love? It was crazy. I know the film went to Cannes, but come on it’s a short film. I responded yes, then asked where she had seen the film? It turns out she knew the lead, Jennifer Murphy, but still it was the first time someone recognized me from my work. Kinda crazy!

I promise to be better at this blog thing! XOXO’s

JANURAY - Happy New Year!
Synopsis

January started with an exciting visit from my dear friend Kerrie Jane who flew in from Northern California. We had many fun adventures seeing old friends and gallivanting up to the mountains for sledding. As January progressed the Writer’s Strike continued, so I extended my stay and help Momma Wogan pick everything from tile - toilets for the house remodel.

The 1st Amanda Freeberg and I enjoyed a tasty evening out.

Oh No…the girls are at it again!

January 3rd, Kerrie Jane & I visited our dear friend Katie Huber. It was like being in College again, but this time there was Katie’s beautiful baby girl Izzy. It was so much fun and who would have thought that we would miss our days at CCU?

January 5th, Kerrie Jane & I were so excited that Brian Miles drove down from Northern Colorado to come and see us. We mentioned it to Katie Huber during our visit at her house and we invited to join us. Of course she did. We all went to Catholic confession and enjoyed an entire day of catch-up. A theme of missing my CCU days began to immerge. In all actuality its not that I want to go back in time, but rather that I miss seeing those I love so dearly on a daily basis!

January 6th, Kerrie Jane & I drove south to see our beloved friend Sarah Waiss. Oh what a wild day we girls had! We searched for marzipan, watched P.S. I Love You, talked and talked and then talked some more. Old home week continued. Such a fabulous girl day!

January 8th, Kerrie Jane & I adventured up to Winter Park for a sledding escapade. What a cold, snowy day…it was perfect!! Oh how I miss my Colorado Rockies!!

Oh My Goodness, do you see that?

Oh My Goodness, I certainly do!

January 16th, turned into a very exciting day. My mother woke me up with some very thrilling news…our dear friend Cherie Vlaanderen, whom I had not seen in at least four years, was going to be at the house with in the hour. Words cannot describe how good it was to see her. We all had tea and caught up with each others lives.

Then it was of to a night at The National Western Stockshow. It was the PBR Finals and it was AWESOME! The Finals’ Winner had a 92 ride, which for those of you who don’t know is a very high score! Once again it was AWESOME!!

DECEMBER

My First Hollywood Red Carpet Event

So this whole Red Carpet thing is something that I am still getting used to. My first real experience was of course in France walking the Red Carpet at the Cannes Film Festival with all the paparazzi. It was the most surreal experience of my life, after all I was on the arm of a handsome Frenchman with the lights flashing. That is until I had my first Hollywood Red Carpet experience. I was invited to a Christmas Fund Raiser Gala at one of the hottest night clubs in LA. Friday December 7, I walked the Red Carpet at Hollywood’s Opera Night Club. It was a fun and crazy evening!

NOVEMBER

Denver Adventures

Sunday, the 18th Momma Wogan, my dear friend Chrissy Nilsen, her lovely two daughters, Ava & Molly & myself had a wonderful day at the Denver ZOO. Carousel rides, a train ride and of course animal watching made for a very full day! Thank you my dear friend!!

One of my favorite things has always been Tea at the Brown Palace. The day before Thanksgiving my parents and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon of High Tea!

My parents are blessed to have a new woman with special needs living with them. Her name is Sheri. She and I truly hit it off and I am very pleased, as are my parents, to have her as a member of the family! After all, I always wanted a sister. Plus, she is fabulous with the puppies, Reggie and Mabel.

Once back in LA, I drove out to Ventura to visit my Great Aunt Jane and see her new place. It was so good to see her! I really miss her living just a couple miles away!! She was so great at sharing whole chickens with!

OCTOBER

Momma Wogan & Seal, Puerto Vallarta. Isn’t she the cutest EVER!!!

What a fun weekend!

Saturday, October 27th I was ecstatic to finally see Bethany Dillon and Sanctus Real open for Steven Curtis Chapman. I have loved these two Christian bands forever and they are fabulous in concert. Two thumbs WAY up!!

Sunday, October 28th I was pleased to attend a function for the National Association for Urban Debate League (NAUDL) which my cousin Dr. Eric Tucker (pictured back left) is the Deputy Director of. I was thrilled to be able to finally meet his girlfriend Brittany (front left) and see my other cousin Naomi (front middle) and her husband Jose (back right). It was a delightful evening!

SEPTEMBER
